Mohegan Sun Pocono

A multi-million dollar capital improvement project is underway at Mohegan Sun Pocono, which is intended to deliver an array of enhancements to bolster the guest experience further still.

The property, owned by Mohegan Gaming & Entertainment, is to debut three additional venues from this month, with a $10m hotel renovation also underway.

Situated on 400 acres in Plains, Pennsylvania, the facility features a 238-room hotel with on-site spa and adjacent 20,000 square-foot convention centre.

Furthermore, it also boasts a 67,000 square foot gaming space that includes almost 60 live table games, over 1700 slot machines and electronic table games, live harness racing, Unibet sportsbooks, a variety of dining and shopping options, nightlife and entertainment.

Beginning from the close of the current month, Mohegan Sun Pocono will debut the Embers Terrace hospitality destination, which will be followed by The Hive Taphouse dining and entertainment offering during the coming summer, which will be followed by the Topgolf Swing Suites.

“These capital improvements as part of Project Starlight represent some of the most thrilling enhancements that we have ever announced at MSP,” Anthony Carlucci, President and General Manager of Mohegan Sun Pocono, said of the project at the Pennsylvania-based property.

“These offerings will not only bolster our live entertainment, but they also bring a relaxing and fun-filled outdoor experience as well as an amazing Topgolf Swing Suite venue. All 238 of our hotel rooms will have a whole new look and feel by the end of the year as well.”

The Mohegan Sun Pocono Hotel, opened in 2014, will also undergo a major revamp, that will, by the end of 2022, see all 238 guest rooms will be completely renovated.

“We’ve already modelled a couple of rooms so far and the difference is remarkable. We’re confident that our guests are really going to love it,” added Carlucci.
