Digital market firm and online casino affiliate Blexr has added New Zealand-based CasinoReviews to its network as part of an ongoing mission of expanding its global portfolio further still.

Following the purchase, the group, which is headquartered on the archipelago of Malta, has voiced an ambition of making the site “the most comprehensive casino resource for Kiwi players”.

The entity provides reviews of reputable online casinos which accept players from New Zealand in a bid to help people make better online decisions.

It is added that the acquisition of the igaming review site has been achieved for a seven figure sum, as Blexr looks to swell its number of global properties.

Koen Bongers, Blexr’s Head of Marketing, said: “We believe this acquisition will blend very well into our existing product portfolio while increasing our presence in our target markets.

“New Zealand has a high interest in slot machines – called ‘pokies’ locally – and our bespoke free casino games technology allows us to create a highly localised offering in the market that will stand out from the competition.

“We have big plans for this website and are excited to see how it will grow in the coming months.”

Last week, Blexr moved to strengthen its day-to-day media and marketing operations by appointing two fresh executives to its senior management team.

The firm first confirmed the appointment of Nick Walker as Chief Operating Officer, joining Blexr from iTech Media, where he formerly served as Head of Agile Delivery.

Further developments saw the company name Andrew Isidoro as Chief Marketing Officer, who followed Walker in joining from iTech Media.
