EGO calls on affiliates to push Safer Gambling Week message ‘even harder’

EGamingOnline.com has called on affiliate marketers to ‘embrace’ Safer Gambling Week, which is set to take place between October 17 – 23.

The affiliate programme for SkillOnNet’s network of proprietary online casinos, EGO hopes the week will aid drive awareness on how to approach gambling more safely in the UK gambling scene, with the aim to stimulate conversation around the matter.

“Safer gambling has always been a watchword for SkillOnNet and we have always expected the same of our EGO affiliate marketing partners,” Michael Golembo, Sales and Marketing Director at SkillOnNet.

“They have always done a great job of arming players with the tools and knowledge they need to make responsible decisions and informing them about resources available if gambling becomes a problem. But let’s push that message even harder during Safer Gambling Week.”

For the duration of the campaign, affiliates will be carrying a Safer Gambling Week banner on the homepages of all UK-facing casino sites. In addition, the campaign’s message will also be emailed to players or members who have signed up for regular mail via their database.

Furthermore, affiliates will be following and liking Safer Gambling Week Twitter, Facebook and Instagram posts and have been asked to share or repost a selection of campaign focused posts on all relevant social media channels at least once during the week.

SkillOnNet has also confirmed all of its brands, including PlayOJO, Slingo, Genting Casino and SpinGenie, will be involved.
