BetGames is set to expand in the UK after being issued multiple product licences by the UK Gambling Commission.

The live dealer and betting games studio can now provide its current games portfolio to all licensed UK operators, with its betting on real events and virtual event facilities now approved by the UKGC alongside its existing gambling software and casino hosting licences.

Initial launches of these newly licensed products are expected to be announced shortly, beginning with Twain Sport, which will supply operators with “short-form, basketball and football action 24/7”.

The product is also described as the “perfect sporting complement for traditional igaming” with a high-turnover schedule that can boost engagement and incremental revenue.

“Our latest UK approvals are going to be an absolute game-changer for us,” commented Andreas Koeberl, CEO of BetGames.

“Live since October 2022, Twain Sport has already proven a resounding success having been deployed with 45 operators globally in just six months, as well as 20 more contracts currently under negotiation.”

Available in both football and basketball formats, Twain Sport sees professional athletes compete in one-on-one challenges.

Targeted towards Millennial and Gen-Z demographics in a “low-staking, regulation-friendly format”, the product has non-stop 60-second matches available every two minutes daily, resulting in 1,440 matches per day and 43,200 per month.

Koeberl continued: ”Our mission at BetGames has always been to offer unique products for the igaming industry.

“With Twain Sport, we have something truly special for the UK market – the first-of-its-kind high-turnover sporting action that will be the perfect cross-sell for sports betting and casino fans.

“Perfect for the new low-staking regulatory environment in the UK, we can’t wait to see how it performs.”
