Igaming developer RubyPlay has deepened its European presence after receiving a Romanian supplier licence from the Oficiul National pentru Jocuri de Noroc regulator.

Highlighting the company’s international expansion strategy, this move will see RubyPlay provide its range of slot releases to online casino brands operating in the regulated Romanian market.

Trevor Ginsberg, CEO of RubyPlay, said: “We are really pleased to have secured this licence to enter Romania and introduce players to the globally recognised RubyPlay experience.

“We firmly believe our games are a strong fit for the market, particularly as the top performing games in Romania feature jackpots and hold and respin mechanics, both of which are incorporated within many of our own titles.”

Upon receiving the licence, online casino operators and their players within the nation will gain access to RubyPlay slot titles such as recent releases Royal Griffin, Diamond Explosion 7s and Shake Shake Money Tree.

Dr Eyal Loz, CPO of RubyPlay, added: “It’s very exciting to see RubyPlay achieving another important milestone and making our games accessible to players in Romania. We know our content is highly relevant to Operators and players in the region, and I’m sure we will achieve strong brand recognition in the coming months.”

This licence receival comes shortly after the supplier expanded its European presence by agreeing to supply its games catalogue across the UK and Europe with LeoVegas.
