Wizard Games, a subsidiary of NeoGames, has announced the appointment of Benedict McDonagh as Managing Director in a move to “take the studio to the next level”.

Marco Trucco is aiming to build on 16 years of industry experience after becoming a “vital cog” in Videoslots’ business via an appointment as Chief Marketing Officer.

He will be charged with strengthening the online casino operator’s operations in Spain, Italy and Latin America, as well Ontario after the group went live in the region at the end of June.

“The role of CMO is a vital part of any business, especially for us at Videoslots, and we believe we are in good hands with Marco at the helm,” commented Ulle Skottling, Deputy CEO at Videoslots.

“Marco has nearly two decades worth of experience, working in various parts of Europe and his understanding of the sector fits in perfectly with our ambitions.”

After entering into the industry in 2007 and occupying various management positions in Italy, including Gaming Director at Eurobet, Trucco became Gaming Director at Gala Coral Group in April 2012.

Following a stint of a little over two and a half years, he made his way to the Stars Group when he progressed from Italy Country Manager to Associate Director of International Marketing, via a short stint as Associate Director of Italy, Germanics, central and eastern Europe, in a five and a half year stay.

Before joining Videoslots, he worked as Managing Director of GGPoker, where he established the European hub in Malta and led the expansion of the poker operator to several EU markets.

Trucco said: “It is an honour to be appointed CMO at one of the industry’s best operators. My role is to raise Videoslots’ exposure to the growing number of online casino players who demand a superior product and great customer service.

“I’ll make the best use of my experience and creativity, with the intention of bolstering Videoslots across many markets globally.”
