Light & Wonder has maintained its OpenGaming pace of expansion after teaming-up with DreamSpin, a fresh slots studio dreamt up by streamers FruitySlots and HideousSlots.
Under the terms of the partnership, titles produced by the content creation newcomers will be distributed exclusively to the Light & Wonder operator network via the OpenGaming platform across a number of key regulated markets around the world.
This becomes the latest in a number of additions to the Light & Wonder roster of games studios, with Bang Bang Games representing a further expansion of the aggregation platform.
On the operator front, an expanded agreement alongside Betsson Group was taken into new markets, while a Swiss online casino debut was made via Grand Casino Luzern’s online arm.
“Streamers play a huge role in the igaming ecosystem and are highly influential when engaging with players,” stated Steve Mayes, Digital Partnerships Director at Light & Wonder.
“It’s refreshing to see two of the industry’s leading content creators look to their audiences to help them build great new games.
“We are thrilled to have DreamSpin on our platform, and we can’t wait to deliver their games to operators and players worldwide.”
Both FruitySlots and HideousSlots stress that the direction of DreamSpin will be guided by knowledge and experience built-up through streaming channels and a passion for bespoke content, as well as personal preferences and those of their active communities.
Josh Green, Founder of DreamSpin, added: “We are extremely excited to turn our ideas and vision for thrilling gameplay into reality. It’s a pleasure to work closely with Light & Wonder, the OpenGaming platform is the perfect fit to distribute our games, tapping into their extensive global reach.
“We were greatly encouraged by Light & Wonder’s enthusiasm to work with us after it was clear we shared the same vision of how we want to present and position our games studio.”
