The Venetian Resort Las Vegas has secured a multi-year partnership for the naming rights of the Yahoo Sportsbook powered by William Hill on the casino’s floor.

Now open, the sports betting space at the casino was redesigned as part of the partnership to create a “modern and luxurious setting” for sports fans to enjoy in time for the upcoming NFL and NBA seasons.

Ryan Spoon, President of Yahoo Sports, commented: “We are excited and privileged to launch the Yahoo Sportsbook in partnership with The Venetian Resort Las Vegas.

“The Yahoo Sportsbook will offer sports fans a fabulous setting to enjoy games in a one-of-a-kind, branded environment. This partnership is another step in our ongoing commitment to engage and delight sports fans through our Yahoo Sports and Yahoo Fantasy platforms.”

Covering 12,000 square feet, the Yahoo Sportsbook features a 46 million pixel, 1,770-square-foot LED video wall that can display up to 40 sporting events at once, with an additional 30 TVs spread throughout the venue and seating for 105 across sofas and lounge chairs.

An oval bar located centrally within the sportsbook can provide 29 guests with 10, 65-inch 4K LED screens, a 97-foot, high-resolution ticker displaying live odds and scores, along with table games and bar top gaming close by.

“We wanted to create the best place on the Strip to watch sports,” added Patrick Nichols, President and Chief Executive Officer of The Venetian Resort Las Vegas.

“This redesign pulls through the relaxed feeling of watching a game with your friends – plush sofas, lounge chairs, great game-day eats with the convenience of betting powered by William Hill. And through the partnership with Yahoo, we’re sure to have additional surprises in store for our guests as we move into football season and beyond.”

Two Yahoo Fan Caves are also available at the venue, providing eight to 12 guests with “an elevated group viewing experience” featuring two 98-inch UHD 4K guest-controlled displays, as well as a food and beverage service.

Special menus for the sportsbook and Fan Caves will be provided by Black Tap Craft Burgers & Beer and Noodle Asia.

Michael Grodsky, Vice President and Head of West Region Digital Operations at William Hill US, stated: “We are thrilled to power this new sportsbook on The Strip.

“Our market-leading tech has provided a best-in-class retail sportsbook experience in Nevada for a long time, and we can’t wait to bring this high-powered partnership to life for more sports fans alongside our new William Hill mobile sports wagering app.”
