MGM Resorts International has returned as the presenting sponsor of the annual Las Vegas Pride Parade, taking its support into a 17th consecutive year.

This, said the casino and entertainment operator, represented an extension of the maintained effort of fostering “a more inclusive and equitable world”.

The company is a long-time sponsor of the annual parade, having been aligned since 2023. This year’s edition will take place on Friday 6 October in downtown Las Vegas.

Furthermore, MGM, which stresses that it is aiming to continue “to amplify its support for the LGBTQ+ community year after year”, will see employees join the celebration where they will be marching alongside the company’s float.

Recent accreditations gained by the group has see the Human Rights Campaign recognise MGM Resorts as one of the US’ ‘Best Places to Work for LGBTQ+ Equality’.

In addition, the group has achieved a perfect score for 11 consecutive years on the Corporate Equality Index. This is acclaimed by MGM as the nation’s foremost benchmarking survey, measuring corporate policies and practices related to LGBTQ+ workplace equality.

“We are proud to reaffirm our support for the LGBTQ+ community and celebrate love in all its forms,” said Jyoti Chopra, Chief People, Inclusion & Sustainability Officer at MGM Resorts.

“Our participation is an extension of our ongoing efforts to foster a more inclusive and equitable world.”
