BetMGM has launched an online hybrid dealer game called MGM Bonus City, bringing a live casino-esque experience to its players.

Available in New Jersey and launching in Pennsylvania and Michigan soon, the titles combines Inspired Entertainment’s technology with virtual CGI, green screen technology and real dealer footage.

Virtually transporting players to Las Vegas, the hybrid dealer game gives users the option of eight possible outcomes from a big wheel, including four MGM property-themed bonus rounds: New York-New York, Luxor, MGM Grand and Bellagio. A special multiplier is awarded to players before the wheel is spun as well.

Providing players with branded casino and game show content by blending physical and digital elements, the game requires no studio as it is RNG-generated and available 24/7 with a rotation of hosts.

“We are thrilled to partner with BetMGM to introduce our revolutionary Hybrid Dealer technology via MGM Bonus City,” noted Brooks Pierce, President and Chief Executive Officer of Inspired.

“Our patented technology offers unparalleled opportunities for our customers to provide a realistic ‘as live’ experience to players without the logistics of dedicated studios and staffing. This is just the start of a whole new category of games.”

MGM Bonus City is available on desktop, Android and the BetMGM sportsbook app, with iOS availability coming soon. A demo of the game is also being showcased at Inspired Entertainment’s stand at G2E.

Oliver Bartlett, Senior Director of Gaming at BetMGM, added: “MGM Bonus City brings an added level of fun to BetMGM, allowing players to experience MGM Resorts’ Las Vegas casinos in a new way. We’re confident that our customers will enjoy this unique digital offering.”

The launch of MGM Bonus City coincides with BetMGM recently expanding its online casino portfolio in the US through a partnership with games studio Atlantic Digital.
