Wazdan has secured a second Italian facing integration agreement of the month, with the slots developer maintaining a strategy of expansion across the country alongside Lottomatica.

The online casino and betting platform, which itself strengthened a grip on the market during 2022 via the €310m purchase of BetFlag, undertaken via its GBO subsidiary, “aligns seamlessly” with Wazdan’s future igaming vision, the studio noted.

Andrzej Hyla, Chief Commercial Officer at Wazdan, commented: “We are thrilled to join forces with Lottomatica.it and make our games accessible to Italian players. Wazdan has always been committed to delivering top-notch entertainment, and this partnership reaffirms our dedication to offering players exceptional gaming experiences.”

Within Wazdan’s content offering, Lottomatica.it players will gain access to proprietary slot releases such as 9 Lions, Hot 777 Deluxe, and Power of Gods: Medusa.

Licensed as an operator in the nation, Lottomatica.it offers a range of online casino content, including slots, poker, bingo, live casino titles and sports betting.

While this move sees Wazdan focus on further Italian expansion, the slot developer recently targeted the Belgian market after forming an alliance with PepperMill Casino.

Moreover, Wazdan’s Chief Commercial Officer, Andrzej Hyla, recently spoke with CasinoBeats about the development of its Mystery Drop promotional tool, stating that the feature “introduces an element of unpredictability by awarding unexpected prizes during the play, injecting a sense of thrill and liveliness into the experience”.
