Caroline Ackroyd to resign from CFO position at XLMedia

XLMedia has announced that Caroline Ackroyd will be stepping down as Chief Financial Officer and Board Director.

Ackroyd, who has served as CFO since March 2022, has notified the company’s board of her intention to resign as she will be joining an operator within the gambling industry.

XLMedia added that Ackroyd will stay with the company until March 31 to assist with an orderly transition.

Marcus Rich, Chair of XLMedia, commented: “Caroline has made a considerable contribution to XLMedia over the past two years. On behalf of the board, I would like to thank her for this, and to offer her our best wishes for the future.”

XLMedia noted that it has begun the process of finding a CFO replacement for Ackroyd and will update shareholders on any appointment at the appropriate time.

Ackroyd has served in numerous financial roles at various companies throughout her career. 

Before joining XLMedia, she was CFO of the marketing and data science business Jaywing from September 2020 to March 2022, and was CFO of the video GP consultation platform Push Doctor from November 2018 to September 2020.

Prior to that, she worked in several financial roles at different companies including Sky Betting & Gaming, Coral and Sky.
