Quickspin plans fast start in native Sweden

Swedish slot developer Quickspin has confirmed its intention to go live in the regulated market in Sweden as soon as it opens on January 1.

Players will have access to 30 of Quickspin’s most popular titles via its operator partners. The games will include Sakura Fortune, Dragon Shine, Phoenix Sun, Wild Chase and Second Strike, with more to follow.

Swedish operators and players will also gain access to Quickspin’s bonus tools and features, including Achievements, Achievements Races, Tournaments and Challenges.

Quickspin CEO Daniel Lindberg hailed the move as “one of the supplier’s most significant in recent times”.

He said: “Being one of the first slots to go live with Swedish players is incredibly exciting for us. As well as being our home market, we have been preparing for this opportunity with our operating partners since August this year – and are delighted to have first-mover advantage.

“We live and breathe slots and are especially proud of our Swedish origins. Our mission is to create games that players love, and we’re looking forward to bringing our games home as soon as the year begins.”

The company, which is part of the Playtech Group, having been acquired by the giant in March, 2016, has also recently gone live in Poland for the first time as part of the Playtech Group’s casino partnership with Totalizator Sportowy, the country’s largest operator.
