Online casino operator PlayOJO has secured to high-profile media sponsorship deals in Sweden, lending its name to hit crime show Efterlyst and a competition on a leading breakfast radio show.

The TV exposure with Efterlyst, which tranlates as Wanted, is coupled with sponsorship of the popular Vinn Adam’s Pengar (Win Adam’s Money) competition section of the Wake up with NRJ radio show.

Hasse Aro (pictured above) presents Efterlyst live for TV3 from Stockholm and sees viewers follow police as they work on unsolved crimes across the nation.

The Vinn Adam’s Pengar competition is a radio segment that runs over several weeks and sees listeners answer questions to win presenter Adam’s cash.

The deals form part of PlayOJO’s aggressive marketing strategy in Sweden and follows the operator’s sponsorship of hit reality TV series Paradise Hotel.

The sponsorship agreements will be further boosted by PlayOJO’s latest TV ad campaign in the country, which features a sad Alpaca that has been treated badly by other online casinos.

Peter Bennett, head of brand marketing at PlayOJO, said: “The combination of these sponsorship deals and the launch of our latest TV ad campaign will increase awareness of our positioning as the fair casino and further establish PlayOJO as one of the most popular online casino brands in Sweden.

“In less than a year, PlayOJO has gone from new market entrant to household name thanks to our aggressive on and offline marketing strategy and the superior experience based around transparency we offer our players.”

The fair-play focused operator launched in the UK in February 2017, and first entered the Swedish market in January this year.
