B2B gaming solutions provider Oryx Gaming has significantly increased its presence in the Romanian market and entering a content distribution deal with operator Winbet.
Under the terms of the deal Winbet is to gain access to the Oryx games platform’s custom content from suppliers including Kalmaba Games, Gamomat and Golden Hero, as well as Oryx Hub, which offers a portfolio of casino games from a selection of more than 8,000 titles and 80 providers.
The deal will see the Bragg Gaming Group’s Oryx expand its market share in Romania, having already established a presence via partnerships with several operators in the country.
Matevz Mazij, managing director of Oryx Gaming, said of the announcement: “Partnering with Winbet, one of the largest and most reputable operators in the region, is another great milestone for us as we continue our strategic ambition to expand in regulated markets.
“Romania has become an important market for us and our offering has proven popular with local players and we are looking forward to being able to offer it to Winbet’s customer base.
South East European operator Winbet boasts a wide-spread retail network and established online presence, holding several licences, including one issued by the Romanian National Gambling Office.
Mark Adonia, COO, at Winbet Romania, commented: “Oryx Gaming’s offering will be a great addition to our existing portfolio as we continue to grow our brand and cement our position as a leading and must see operator in Romania.
“Oryx offers a wide and exciting portfolio of engaging titles from premium suppliers which will greatly enhance our customers’ experience.”
Last week Bragg Gaming Group continued to expand its US presence after the company’s sports media subsidiary GiveMeSport gained a vendor licence from the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement.
As a result of the green-light being issued Bragg is permitted to direct users from its site to sportsbook websites that accept New Jersey registrations and deposits, with it stressed that several sports betting affiliate deals are also lined up to go live during the next few months.
