William Hill introducing drive thru sign-ups for Nevada sportsbooks

William Hill is working with four of its casino partners in Nevada to allow sports fans to create and deposit into mobile sportsbook accounts across Las Vegas and Reno.

Launching a series of drive through sign-ups across a quartet of properties ahead of UFC 249, emanating from Jacksonville, Florida, the sports betting firm has unveiled its new promotion under the moniker ‘Watch the Fights on us’.

Available for for both existing and new William Hill Nevada mobile sports customers, patrons that previously registered for an account are eligible for a $65 cash bonus when wagering a total of $249 on UFC 249 to cover the cost of Saturday’s pay-per-view event.

Sports fans interested in signing up need to download the app in advance, before completing a few initial steps, including taking a picture of their valid state-issued ID. Upon arriving at one of four drive thru locations, patrons can complete the contactless registration process by taking a selfie with the app to verify their identity.

William Hill, which boasts the operation of 113 race and sportsbooks in Nevada, is creating the drive thru locations on Friday 8 May and Saturday 9 May at TA Operating Nevada’s Alamo Casino, the Golden Entertainment pair of Arizona Charlie’s Boulder and Arizona Charlie’s Decatur and Sierra Sid’s Casino.

“Ahead of the largest sporting events of the month, we wanted a safe way to meet the current demand from our customers,” said Joe Asher, CEO of William Hill US. “It sure is nice to have some American sports to bet on.”

William Hill US’ latest partnership in the country saw a link-up inked with International Game Technology, through its IGT Global Solutions Corporation subsidiary, to introduce enhanced versions of Rhode Island’s mobile app and website sportsbook offerings.

After initially inking in a deal to November 2018 alongside the Rhode Island Lottery to open New England’s first sportsbooks at Twin River Casino and Tiverton Casino, the first version of the region’s mobile app went live in September 2019.

Powered by the IGT PlaySports Technology and available via iOS, Android and sportsbetrhodeisland.com, Ocean State bettors can now utilise “a more streamlined experience featuring an elevated interface, an expanded wagering menu, and an additional way for patrons to fund their accounts”.
