Online casino and sports betting tech provider FSB has added further strength ahead of its imminent entry into the US market via the appointments of Larry Pelzer and Mike Van Ermen.

Pelzer joins the firm as vice president of North America, and boasts a range of industry experience gained across a 17-year career. Prior to joining FSB he worked for real-money mobile gaming platform start-up Playport Gaming, and spent two years at Scientific Games.

He will be US based and over the next few months will be responsible for driving brand awareness and introducing the provider’s full range of retail and online betting products and services to operators in the region.

“I am honoured to be joining FSB at what is an incredibly exciting and pivotal time for the business as it gets ready to enter the North American market,” Pelzer stated.

Van Ermen joins the company as vice president of pre-sales, and will be charged with identifying potential partners by leveraging his strong operational experience. Before joining FSB, Van Ermen was the strategic operations manager at Circa Sports

“I would not have left my previous job if I didn’t see the massive potential and opportunity presented by FSB. From top to bottom, this company has what it takes to be a true market disrupter,” noted Van Ermen.

The recruitment of Pelzer and Van Ermen at the company comes just weeks after the appointment of ex-Kambi CCO Ian Freeman as chief revenue officer, and former Resorts Digital Gaming director Bob Akeret as vice president of operations in North America.

Dave McDowell, CEO of FSB, said: “I am delighted to welcome Larry and Mike to the team and for them to play a central role in our plans to enter the North American market. This is a big year for FSB and our in-house talent continues to get stronger.”
