Microgaming says that it is striving to “reinvigorate the live casino industry,” as the igaming supplier strikes an alliance to power a new product from On Air Entertainment.
On Air Entertainment, powered by Microgaming, is the creative force behind a new live dealer suite which will be made available via the studio’s purpose-built platform. Launch will commence, with a range of classic and bespoke live casino games, in early 2022.
John Coleman, CEO at Microgaming, commented: “On Air Entertainment represents a new evolution of live casino gaming, possessing all the experience, talent and passion required to innovate in the live casino space. I am delighted that Microgaming is playing an integral part in their exciting journey.”
Founded in January 2021 by a team of senior industry professionals with a history in live casino, On Air is headquartered in Malta and operates a studio in Riga, Latvia, with developers based in both Latvia and Estonia.
The group says that it’s set for a period of “rapid growth” during the course of the coming months, as it embarks on a mission to bring “competitive, customisable and world-leading content to the table”.
Andres Rengifo, managing director at On Air Entertainment, added: “Our vision is to be the global innovator of choice for tailored live casino experiences, and to achieve this we’re bringing together the very brightest and best live casino talent from across the industry.
“Powered by Microgaming, we will have access to unrivalled customer and market reach, this is a game-changer for us, and we can’t wait to begin broadcasting together.”
It has been a busy period of late for Microgaming, with a number of commercial tie-ups unveiled during the closing stages of May. This saw partnership struck alongside Reno-based Gold Coin Studios, the Solverde Group, and platform and content provider Blox.
