PlayStar Casino has appointed Dan Alexander as chief operating officer, as the online casino brand prepares to make its debut in the New Jersey igaming market later this year.

At the firm, he will utilise past experience to build the foundations of the brand’s online casino product, in addition to playing a central role in growing the wider team. 

“Dan brings a massive amount of product, operational, marketing and industry knowledge to PlayStar and I am delighted to welcome him to the team,” explained Per Hellberg, CEO of PlayStar.

Alexander joins PlayStar with a decade of industry experience, having spent the last three years at bet365 as head of casino. Prior to this he was head of product and platform at Mansion.

During his time at the former, he was responsible for taking the operator’s online casino brand into new global markets and managing a team responsible for more than ten international gaming licences.
