Scientific Games secures exclusive DWG North American distribution

Push Gaming has gained access to key strategic operators via its agreement to team-up with Scientific Games.

Scientific Games has secured its latest North America exclusive distribution agreement, which will see Design Works Gaming provide a further enhancement to the group’s OpenGaming portfolio.

The three-year agreement will see Arizona-based DWG roll out its online casino titles across the US and Canada through the OpenGaming platform, providing customers with an added array of content as well supplying opportunities for bespoke game development.

Scientific Games will initially make the firm’s range of igaming titles available in New Jersey, before launching in Michigan and Pennsylvania as well as other states that open up for online gaming.

“When I founded DWG in Scottsdale, Arizona, the thought of launching our games in regulated, real money online casinos in the US felt like a distant dream,” explained Troy Zurawski, CEO of Design Works Gaming.

“Over the past 16 years I’ve grown DWG in this direction, slow and steady – but with purpose. As you can probably imagine, it feels incredible to be launching in the USA. Even more so knowing the proven success behind our products.

“We couldn’t have found a better partner to bring us home than SG Digital. With their backing – we can now change up the game across North America, starting with this first launch in New Jersey.”

This exclusive deal regarding Scientific Games’ OpenGaming system follows a similar deal succeed alongside Hacksaw Gaming earlier in the year.

The agreement saw the Malta-based studio initially go live with OpenGaming partners in the UK as well as other regulated markets during the summer, with exclusivity on the platform in the US and Canada to follow later the year.

Steve Mayes, partnerships director of digital at Scientific Games, added: “Securing this exclusive deal with DWG furthers our momentum across North America.

“DWG has a wealth of knowledge on what players in the region want from their gaming experiences and the addition of their content significantly enhances the product offering operators can put in front of players. It is a perfect alliance and we look forward to working and growing together for the next three years and beyond.”
