International Game Technology has detailed the latest expansion of its US sports betting footprint, after teaming up with the Stillaguamish Tribe of Indians.
This will see the group power sports betting at the tribe’s Angel Of The Winds Casino Resort in Arlington, with the gaming property to leverage IGT’s PlaySports turnkey solution for retail and on-premise mobile sports betting.

“Our proven all-in-one PlaySports technology was designed to offer maximum flexibility for operators of all sizes to seamlessly establish exciting sports betting programs.”
Earlier this year, the Stillaguamish Tribe reached a tentative gaming compact amendment agreement with the Washington State Gambling Commission, which included updates to regulatory and operational processes and also clarified certain provisions.
This was followed up in May with a tentative sports wagering compact amendement agreement being inked by the tribe alongside the state regulator.

Earlier this month, IGT established a dedicated digital and betting business segment, which came as the group eyes “significant growth” moving forward.
The division will comprise the firm’s igaming and sports betting activities, which were previously part of its global gaming segment.
This new structure has seen Drago be named to serve as CEO of digital and betting, reporting to Marco Sala, CEO of IGT.
