Digitain is looking to drive the development and innovations produced by its live dealer product, after confirming the appointment of Matthew Charlesworth as managing director of the group’s live casino division.

The sportsbook and casino platform provider is looking for Charlesworth to utilise what it calls “a wealth of experience and knowledge” to drive its aforementioned product, which it set to be showcased in the not too distant future.

Past experience has seen Charlesworth occupy roles of casino operations manager and Bet365, live casino manager at Paddy Power Betfair, head of sales for NetEnt Live, and most recently head of live casino at Entain.

“I am delighted to be joining Digitain and their fantastic team in their beautiful capital city of Yerevan,” Charlesworth said upon taking up occupancy of his new position.

“It’s an exciting time for us as we will soon be showcasing our new live dealer product direct from our brand-new studio based in the spectacular new headquarters, Digitown.

“I’m very much looking forward to introducing our new live casino to our existing and future partners at ICE in April.”

To close the past year, Digitain secured certification from Gaming Laboratories International for its sportsbook platform, covering event wagering and interactive gaming systems. The provider said that it received the accreditation following a ‘rigorous evaluation’.

Vardges Vardanyan, Digitain’s founder, stated: “I am extremely pleased to welcome Matthew to the Digitain family. His many years of experience in both the land-based and online live dealer spaces will add leadership, quality and real value to our operation.

“I look forward to the successful development, launch and innovations of our own new live dealer product, with Matthew at the helm, ensuring the very best experience for our partners and their players.”
