Ahead of Vivo Gaming exhibiting at SBC Summit Barcelona, CasinoBeats caught up with the live casino specialist’s Marketing Director Martin Hodges to find out what delegates can expect to find at the company’s booth.

CasinoBeats: What are Vivo Gaming’s main objectives at SBC Summit Barcelona 2022 and why is it such an important event for your company?

Martin Hodges: SBC Summit Barcelona is by far one of the most important events in the igaming calendar and it serves as a fantastic opportunity for the Vivo Gaming team to meet up with colleagues based all around the world, industry friends, customers, and of course potential customers.

Not only does SBC Barcelona serve as an ideal platform for networking, but it’s also a brilliant event for our team to gain a better understanding of what’s currently going on within the igaming industry, offering valuable insight into current trends. What’s more, events like these give us the opportunity to look at what others within the live casino space are doing, benchmarking it against our own future plans.

CB: Vivo Gaming has expanded its offering considerably in the past year. Can you tell us more about what you now offer and how it benefits operators?

MH: Vivo Gaming is the igaming industry’s leading live casino software provider, with over 15 years’ experience and a strong presence in Europe, Asia and Latin America.

In the last 12 months, we’ve developed an array of products that have garnered attention from all facets of the industry. These new products include our ground-breaking Chroma Key offering, games lobby and promotional tournament tool, as well as a number of brand-new games.

Our Chroma Key offering allows operators to customise their live casino studios to an unparalleled level, meaning live dealers can be placed in any location, or in a specially-themed studio for a certain event or holiday.

Our new games lobby and Promotional Tournament tool significantly boost player engagement by enhancing the gameplay experience with a plethora of UI upgrades, new ways for players to interact, leaderboards and prizes.

CB: Most recently, Vivo Gaming released its new promotional tool, how does this reflect what players now look for in a live dealer experience?

MH: Our promotional tournament tool is something that’s completely new to the live casino sphere and is a product we’re confident will engage players like never before.

This one-of-a-kind tool allows operators to create bespoke casino tournaments and offer their players the opportunity to win prizes in a completely new way. We’ve found that these promotional tournaments are a fantastic way to keep players engaged and retained in the long term.

What’s more, this tool allows for unlimited players across multiple igaming brands and real-time communication, meaning players can track their progress during tournaments.

Essentially, we’ve levelled up the live dealer experience and added an entirely new layer of engagement. We’ve raised the bar and players will expect this degree of service going forward.

CB: What are the most important markets for your company now and where do you see live casino becoming more popular?

MH: There’s a real hunger for live casino games in Latin America, and thankfully Vivo Gaming has an incredibly strong footing in the region. We’ve made it our business to further boost our offering by gaining all the necessary certifications and licensing we can in order to grow there.

Only recently, we received GLI certification to offer Baccarat, Live European Roulette, Live American Roulette and Blackjack in Colombia and Uruguay, which is another huge milestone for the company. We’ll continue to push hard to cement ourselves as the market leader in this growth market, as it’s only going to get bigger and bigger as time goes on.

Of course, whilst we’re heavily invested in the Latin American market, that’s not to say we’re not focused on Europe and other parts of the world. Our games are available in more than 27 languages, and we offer our games and services in key regulated markets around the globe.
