Wazdan inks Play North deal to gain ‘further European penetration’

Fennica Gaming has made its debut, with fellow Scandinavian state monopolies Norsk Tipping and Svenska Spel becoming the first to incorporate the product.

Wazdan has strengthened its standing within Europe after the studio inked a deal with Dutch operator Play North.

Under the terms of the deal, the slot providers catalogue of content will become available to players utilising Play North’s brands Kasino, Pikakasino and Kiirkasiino

“By delivering Wazdan’s innovative games to our customers, we stay true to our promise of delivering high-quality, pioneering content to our ecosystem,” explained Daphne Xerri, Head of Casino at Play North.

“The provider’s games are renowned for their imaginative themes and engagement-boosting features and we look forward to seeing how our players react to the products.”

Titles included in the agreement includes 9 Burning Dragons, 9 Coins, Magic Spins, Sizzling Eggs and Sizzling Kingdom: Bison.

In addition to the aforementioned slots, Wazdan’s link-up with Play North will allow European players, including Dutch residents, to experience the studio’s features such as Collect to Infinity, Cash Infinity and Hold the Jackpot.

Andrzej Hyla, Chief Commercial Officer at Wazdan, commented: “We’re excited by the prospect of further penetrating the Dutch and other European markets with Play North and its numerous casino sites.

“The agreement allows our content to reach a significant number of new players as we look to maintain our impressive growth trajectory and expand our global presence.”

Wazdan’s partnership with Play North sees the firm start October in the same pace as the sector witnessed in September as the provider inked agreements with Sesame, Dench and Exefeed, as well as gaining Bulgarian certification for its titles.
