Betsson Group has bolstered its presence in Denmark with the rebranding of Casino.dk into Betsson.
Launching its flagship brand in the Danish market for the first time, the entity will sit alongside the group’s existing NordicBet brand in the region as the operator continues to expand across the globe.
“Denmark has always been an important market for us. By consolidating our operations under the unified Betsson brand, we aim to harness the power of consistency, scalability, and synergy,” commented Ronni Hartvig, CCO of Betsson Group.
“This rebranding approach empowers us to further optimise resources, cultivate a cohesive brand identity, and extend positive impact through diverse marketing initiatives and global partnerships.”
The launch in Denmark coincides with Betsson’s new global marketing campaign titled “A bet makes the difference”.
Rolled out across 10 European and Latin American countries, the new campaign emphasises betting as a form of entertainment, in particular, “the inherent excitement of betting rather than fixating solely on winnings”.
Directed by Rodrigo Saavedra and developed by Betsson’s in-house team, two separate TV commercials have been produced – casino and sports betting – and the marketing campaign is described as the group’s “most ambitious production to date”.
Betsson has also recently grown its presence in Latin America after becoming the main sponsor of Boca Juniors football club in Argentina.
