Spiffbet has added another string to its operational bow, a little over one month after the group’s prime focus was shifted following the sale of its games development units.

This has been undertaken via the debut of Supersnabbtin in Sweden, which is a sister entity to the Supernopea online casino and sports betting brand that is accessible by Finnish players.

As a result of this latest launch, which comes complete with a casino “that is completely focused on Sweden”, Spiffbet has raised the number of brands in its roster to four.

Joining Supersnabbtin and Supernopea is Turbovegas, which is also live in the Swedish market, as well as Metal Casino, purchased by the company in June 2020.

“It’s fun to launch a brand that so neatly complements our brand portfolio,” stated Henrik Svensson, Spiffbet CEO.

“We have Supernopea.com for Finland and Turbovegas which is broader and covers both Sweden and Finland.

“In Sweden, we have not had a local brand until now. Supernopea.com is a strong local brand in Finland and is the backbone of our casino portfolio, so we have high hopes for Supersnabbt.se in the Swedish market.”

Last month, Spiffbet followed a troublesome second quarter by finalising the divestment of its games development arm to Million Games, which saw the group become fully focused on its own casinos and associated services.

The group had previously cited that funding has not been sufficient to continue running the business successfully, in addition to the games having “not contributed positively over the past year”, upon initially detailing the transaction earlier in the month.

The transaction included all shares in STHLM Gaming Sweden, as well as the Rhino Gaming portfolio and associated related intellectual property rights, for a fee that can amount to a maximum of SEK 3.5 million (£260,000).
