Gold Strike Casino Resort in Tunica, Mississippi has become the state’s first commercial operator to offer on-premise mobile sporting betting, via GeoComply Solutions.
Implemented through BetMGM across its entire casino floor and restaurants, the BetMGM mobile app – which utilises GeoComply’s on-premise mobile solution, PinPoint – is said to enable “fast and reliable” wagering while on the Gold Strike casino property.
Sam Basile, general manager of PinPoint, explained: “To create a geofence that permits patrons to wager solely within the Gold Strike casino floor and restaurants, while excluding the hotel tower and adjacent parking is a complex use case that is only made possible by our PinPoint technology.
“We are thrilled to be part of this historic next chapter in Mississippi commercial gaming.”
Integrating PinPoint at the Gold Strike property enables guests to use their own mobile devices to place wagers on the BetMGM app, rather than having to stand in line at kiosks or terminals.

Utilising proprietary technology, PinPoint Bluetooth beacons create an indoor geofence enabling guests to place bets on their mobile devices while remaining compliant with state laws.
