Greentube is targeting further expansion across North America after gaining a supplier licence that will see the Novomatic interactive division enter Ontario.
This licence, issued by the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario, will see the igaming supplier enter a market which implemented online regulation for the first time earlier this year.
As a result, games from the group’s portfolio including Diamond Cash: Mighty Elephant, Diamond Cash: Mighty Sevens and Diamond Cash: Oasis Riches, and more will become available in the market for operators imminently.
This follows on from other launches in Canada, including British Columbia, Manitoba and Quebec, while Greentube has also entered the regulated US market in New Jersey and Michigan.
The Ontario market, with a population of a little over 14.5 million, is set to become “a region of great importance” to Greentube during the coming months.
Michael Bauer, CFO/CGO at Greentube, said: “We have already established a successful base in Canada through our presence in the regulated provinces of British Columbia, Manitoba and Quebec and we are very excited to have gained an Ontario licence.
“It is a region of great potential for the igaming industry, and we look forward to partnering with operators in Ontario to deliver our first-class content to their players.”
This becomes the latest in an array of developments rolled-out by Greentube over recent weeks as the firm looks to swell its presence on a global scale.
Entry into the province follows commercial tie-ups with Carousel for the Dutch and Belgian markets, a LatAm expansion with Solbet, New Jersey growth gained alongside BetMGM and an “important” Eurobet agreement that delivered Italian expansion.
