Gateway Casinos & Entertainment is to add yet more depth to its British Columbia land-based gaming roster with the near C$100m Cascades Casino Delta to open later this month.
The establishment, which represents an investment of C$99.3m, is set to swing open its doors on Thursday 29 September 2022, with festivities set to start throughout the property at 11:00am and continue all day. An official opening ceremony of Cascades Casino Delta is planned for 4:30pm.
The venue, which becomes the latest addition to Gateway Casinos’ Cascades network, houses 500 slots and 18 table games, in addition to hosting a number of the company’s signature restaurant brands.
In addition to its 160,000 square feet of entertainment space, the facility’s culinary options include The Buffet, Summit Bar and Match Eatery & Public House, which will feature a multi-season patio and the Bud Room.
The firm’s Delta complex becomes the latest Cascades entity for the group, with properties also available in Chatham and North Bay, Ontario and Langley, Kamloops and Penticton, British Columbia.

“Cascades Casino Delta will be a significant addition to the local economy and entertainment landscape of Delta.”
To prepare for the Grand Opening, Gateway continues to focus on the hiring process in the city. The priority, said Gateway, is to create a strong team to operate the gaming floor and manage the new food & beverage offerings including, but not limited to, table games dealers, slot attendants, cashiers & count team members, security officer, chefs & cooks, servers and bartenders. Hospitality and administration staff are also needed.
