Gaming Society has become the latest group to team-up with the American Gaming Association‘s Have A Game Plan. Bet Responsibly public service campaign.
To commemorate the agreement, the sports betting and gaming platform has also released a public service announcement featuring co-founder and NBA Hall-of-Famer Kevin Garnett, which highlights the importance of responsible betting.
“At Gaming Society, our mission is to make sports betting more accessible, responsible, and easier to understand. As sports betting continues to grow, the need to promote responsible betting is more important than ever,” said Garnett.
“We are excited to join the AGA’s Have a Game Plan initiative and provide education for every type of bettor, whether they are first-timers or experienced.”
Through the sign-up, Gaming Society will promote the initiative through regular content and features published in its newsletters, social channels and revamped platform, as well as providing tools and resources via its website.
Furthermore, the group’s content and gaming products will also aim to highlight the importance of responsible betting and illustrate how to play responsibly.
“Gaming Society understands that player education is core to the future growth of legal sports betting,” added Cait DeBaun, AGA Vice President, Strategic Communications & Responsibility.
“We’re excited to welcome them as a Have A Game Plan partner and authentically spread responsible gaming messages to new and experienced players alike.”

The initiative is centred around four key responsible gaming principles of setting a budget and sticking to it, keeping betting social, knowing the odds, and playing with legal, regulated operators.
The AGA launched the campaign in 2019 and includes a wide variety of leagues and teams, sportsbooks, and media entities, such as Barstool Sportsbook, BetMGM, DraftKings, Entain, FanDuel, MGM, NASCAR, New York Knicks, New York Jets, New York Rangers, NHL, Vegas Golden Knights, Washington Commanders, and many more.
