Gaming focused banking and payment provider Xace has launched in Canada as a Money Services Business

Following its registration of Xace.ca with the Canadian regulator FINTRAC, Xace will now be eligible to directly target the market’s gaming sector, as well as Ontario after its gaming licence.

“Pushing boundaries and being at the forefront of global gaming payments is the main goal of Xace,” explained David Hodkinson, CEO of Xace. “Being able to now serve the Canadian gaming market, especially at the time of the Ontario Gaming License was important and we are delighted to be expanding in this way.”

Xace noted that the expansion into North America is “another step forward” for the brand.

The company has continued to grow as an alternative to traditional high street banks, providing named accounts that are ideal for the gaming industry.

Available immediately, customers operating in Canada, or with Canadian dollars, can receive, pay with and convert CAD into over eight alternative currencies including GBP, EUR and USD to assist with facilitating their global gaming operations alongside the Ontario Gaming License.

Xace’s CBO, Andria Evripidou, added “I am hugely proud to be launching our services and accounts in Canada. With all the recent developments in the financial and gaming ecosystem, Canada became an unmissable opportunity for Xace.

“I look forward to welcoming Canadian customers to our platform.”
