Design Works Gaming has extended its partnership with DraftKings into Michigan in a move that swells an overarching ambition of taking its titles “to every market as fast as possible”.

This will see players of the online sports betting and igaming operator gain access to a gaming suite that included games such as Double Fancy 7s and 10X Fortune, with the integration undertaken via Light and Wonder’s OpenGaming platform.

This extension comes after the pair detailed a maiden alliance in September 2022, which saw DraftKings welcome DWG’s igaming suite in New Jersey.

DWG CEO Troy Zurawski said: “DraftKings is one of the initial innovators of the US interactive market and they have carefully constructed a competitive, exciting ecosystem for their players.

“The fact that their team has prioritised bringing DWG titles to every market as fast as possible really speaks to the quality of our content and how it resonates with their players.”

This integration follows DWG being granted a licence to provide its games to operators in the state by the Michigan Gaming Control Board in October 2021.

At the time Zurawski noted: “We’re serious about transforming online casino content in the US, and that means taking our games into all regulated jurisdictions across the country.”
