“Responsible gaming is deeply rooted in every facet of NeoGames‘ operations,” noted group CEO Moti Malul upon receipt of World Lottery Association responsible gaming certification.
As a result of the accreditation process, the company’s digital lottery operations have been assessed by an independent auditor and were found to align with an array of WLA standards.
This, it was said, included research, employee programs, product and service development, remote gaming environments, advertising and marketing communications, client awareness, stakeholder engagement and reporting.
“We are proud to have qualified for responsible gaming certification by the WLA, recognising its importance to our customers and the demand for alignment with industry standards,” said Malul.
“Responsible gaming is deeply rooted in every facet of NeoGames’ operations, from our products to our services and our employees, this certification confirms our continued commitment to being a responsible ilottery supplier.”
The WLA responsible gaming standards framework was created to minimise the impact of problem gaming, set against a backdrop of heightened awareness of the ever-increasing role this plays across the industry. The WLA noted that the NeoGames’ platform met the standards “in every aspect”.
Mélissa Azam, World Lottery Association CSR Senior Manager, added: “The WLA is pleased to officially recognize NeoGames’ adherence to WLA responsible gaming guidelines for suppliers, highlighting their corporate social responsibility practices and attesting that player protection is a core aspect of their operations.”
