GGPoker has expanded its European footing after the firm confirmed its ambitions to open to the Czech market in the “near future”.

Following the recent issuance of a licence by the Ministry of Finance of the Czech Republic, GGPoker, in collaboration with King’s Slots, will launch its GGPoker.cz brand for players in the region to experience.

“We are excited for this announcement and the continued development of our partnership with GGPoker globally,” said Leon Tsoukernik, majority shareholder of King’s Entertainment.

“As the leading casino and poker venue in Europe, home of WSOPE, it was only natural for both our companies to come together to introduce GGPoker to our local audience in the Czech Republic.

“The timing of this launch is particularly significant as King’s Casino celebrates 20 years in the market and our business continues to grow from strength to strength.”

All Czech players will be part of GGPoker’s global player base and have access to the poker software and tournaments, with a wide variety of games running 24/7.

“I’m delighted to work with King’s slots s.r.o. to extend GGPoker access to Czech players,” added Marco Trucco, Head of Europe for GGPoker. “We will have a lot to offer the market in 2023 and beyond, including WSOP satellites, massive tournaments, the most exciting cash games, exclusive promotions and more!”

New GGPoker.cz players are eligible to claim the poker room’s welcome bonus, earn even more rewards with the Honeymoon for Newcomers promotion and automatically join GGPoker’s Fish Buffet loyalty program, with regular cash prizes on offer.
