Bombay Live marks its debut in Buenos Aires to become the first studio to receive approval to operate live casino in the province.

The firm has been granted a licence by the Provincial Institute of Lottery and Casinos, which will see Bombay Live issued with a supplier licence after the company set up a dedicated studio in the region, a requirement needed to provide live casino in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Maximiliano Majo, Head of LatAm at Bombay Group, commented: “We are extremely pleased to be the first and only supplier to get the regulator’s approval to offer live casino products in Buenos Aires and to make our first entry into Argentina.

“This is a huge achievement for us and we have made significant investments to rapidly launch our studio in the region. The market as well as the wider LatAm region hold great potential and we look forward to partnering with operators in Buenos Aires and introducing our premium offering to local players.”

Bombay Group has significantly invested in its Buenos Aires Live Studio, which features “state-of-the-art” equipment, and the firm has also recruited over 200 dealers to enhance its gaming experience to local players.

Last year witnessed an influx of entries into the Province, which saw firms such as Pragmatic Play, Pariplay, Red Rake, Betway, Greentube and Betsson all debut in Argentina.

Moreover, 2022 also saw Buenos Aires’ logical government u-turn on a decision to use debit cards in gaming halls, a week after its initial approval.

The move to void the resolution came after rising concerns surrounding problem gambling within Argentina’s biggest jurisdiction.
