Superbet has announced a new deal to become the main sponsor of SuperLiga side, FC Dinamo Bucharest.

The deal means the operator will appear on the Romanian top-flight team’s shirts. It is reported that the deal could last for up to three years.

Andrei Popa, VP of Online at Superbet, stated: “For us, we see the partnership with Dinamo as proof and a confirmation of our strategy to support Romanian sport, to support football in Romania and, at the same time, to support the local communities of fans, because after all the supporters are the ones who bring energy and charm to this sport.”

“In the end, in the partnership with Dinamo we will focus a lot in the digital sphere, as well as in the audience at the stadium, to bring as many people as possible to the stadium and build a better football together,” Popa explained.

The Romanian top football league was renamed to Superliga in 2022 when Superbet Group became the official partner of the competition in an initial two-year deal.

Dinamo’s Financial Director, Dan Gătăianțu, added: “We need strategic, strong partners who will grow with us. Superbet is the new main sponsor from Dinamo and, together, we are moving towards performance.

“Dinamo earns more than in the old commercial partnership, there are also certain performance bonuses.”It builds on the continued marketing efforts of Superbet after it also became the official bookmaker of Wisła Kraków in a deal that will also see the company appear on the first team’s kit – but this time on the back.
