Mohegan Digital, the online gaming arm of Mohegan, has officially launched its sportsbook in Pennsylvania. The new product integrates directly with the existing Mohegan PA Online Casino platform, giving players a unified experience for both casino and sports betting.

The launch, announced on November 10, positions Mohegan alongside leading operators offering both verticals in the Keystone State. The platform is powered by Boyd Interactive, with Kambi providing trading and odds technology.

Within the same app, users can also access online casino games, including slots, table games, and live dealer games. Notably, Mohegan has chosen an integrated app experience, opposite to the trend of other operators.

Even smaller platforms, such as Hollywood Casino, offer a separate online casino app from their sportsbook. The separation of the two verticals has been shown to be successful for many, so Mohegan’s choice bucks the trend.

Welcome Offer & Other Promos

Mohegan’s Pennsylvania sportsbook debut comes with a welcome promotion: new users who wager $5 or more at odds of –250 or longer receive a $100 bonus bet. The promo mirrors offers by top-tier national competitors.

Other promotions include:

  • Bucket Boosts: Users receive a 20% boost on 3+ leg same-game basketball parlays on Tuesdays and Fridays.
  • Gridiron Glory: Bettors can receive a 15% boost on same-game parlays for eligible NFL Sunday games.
  • Monday Night Mania: Bettors can claim a 20% profit boost on eligible Monday Football wagers.

Available sports include football, basketball, baseball, hockey, golf, boxing, MMA, tennis, soccer, motorsports, darts, cycling, lacrosse, and rugby. Supported bet types span spreads, moneylines, totals, player props, teasers, parlays, and same-game parlays.

How Mohegan Stacks Up

Mohegan enters a crowded field that includes FanDuel, DraftKings, BetMGM, Caesars, and Fanatics. Here’s how current Pennsylvania welcome offers compare:

  • FanDuel: Bet $5, Get $150 in bonus bets if you win
  • DraftKings: Bet $5, Get $300 in bonus bets + 3 months NBA League Pass
  • BetMGM: Choice of Bet $10, Get $150 in bonus bets or first bet insurance up to $1,500
  • Caesars: Bet $1, Get 20 profit-boost tokens (“Double Your Winnings”)
  • Fanatics: Up to $2,000 in No Sweat Bets or Bet $30, Get $300 in FanCash
  • Mohegan: Bet $5, Get $100 bonus bet

From Partner to Proprietary Platform

Mohegan’s sportsbook launch expands on the operator’s online casino presence in Pennsylvania. Mohegan launched its in-house online casino in mid-2024, following its partner, the Kindred Group’s, decision to withdraw the Unibet brand from the US.

Beyond Pennsylvania, Mohegan Digital also operates in Connecticut through its partnership with FanDuel, offering both online casino and sports betting. The Pennsylvania launch extends the company’s multi-state digital footprint and demonstrates growing confidence in its internal technology stack.

Pennsylvania Sports Betting Landscape

Pennsylvania remains one of the largest regulated markets in the United States. For the past fiscal years, sportsbooks’ handle rose nearly 7% to $8.72 billion. However, revenue was mostly flat with a 0.2% year-over-year increase to $487.6 million.

In September 2025, operators handled approximately $850 million in sports wagers, representing a 4.8% year-over-year increase. However, they generated just under $30 million in taxable revenue, a 44.5% decrease from September 2024.

While the overall handle continues to climb, monthly sports-betting revenue has shown volatility, reflecting increased promotional spending and tighter margins. Another potential challenge is the rumored tax hike that lawmakers are discussing. The state currently levies a 36% tax on sportsbook revenue, and any increase will put the state among the most expensive to operate.

Still, Mohegan’s decision to launch its sportsbook now signals confidence that long-term engagement between casino and sports audiences will outweigh short-term market softness.
