The Las Vegas Raiders (2-7 SU, 4-5 ATS) host the Dallas Cowboys (3-5-1 SU, 4-5 ATS) tonight on Monday Night Football. Kickoff is set for 8:15 p.m. ET on ABC/ESPN.
The Cowboys will try to snap a two-game losing streak after coming off their bye week. The Raiders are mired in a three-game losing streak. DraftKings is dealing Dallas as a 3.5-point road favorite with a total of 50.5. As of this writing, 69% of the spread handle and 82% of tickets are on the Cowboys. We’re fading the public play on Dallas.
Best Bet Cowboys vs. Raiders: Against the Spread
Raiders +3.5 (-112 at DraftKings)
Dallas bolstered its defense by adding former Jets DT Quinnen Williams. Still, that won’t help one of the worst secondaries in the NFL. The Cowboys allow 254 passing yards per game, which ranks 30th of 32 teams. They’ve allowed 22 passing TDs on the season.
For its part, Las Vegas’ offense ranks 31st in the league with just 15.4 points per game. But quarterback Geno Smith has enjoyed success against bad defenses with three TDs against the Commanders and four touchdown passes versus the Jags.
Las Vegas has two young stars in TE Brock Bowers and rookie RB Ashton Jeanty. They should both play a prominent role in tonight’s game plan for the Raiders.
Dallas is capable of lighting up the scoreboard, but its offense sputtered last time out in a 27-17 home loss to Arizona. The Cowboys are essentially in must-win mode if they hope to make the playoffs, but their defensive struggles make laying points on the road a shaky proposition.
Best Player Prop for Las Vegas Raiders
RB Ashton Jeanty OVER 17.5 Receiving Yards (-112 at FanDuel)
Dallas routinely allows opposing RBs to surpass their receiving yard totals with a high rate of zone coverage. Facing a similarly bad defense in Jacksonville two weeks ago, Jeanty gouged the Jags for a season-high 47 receiving yards. This is all about the matchup, and the former Boise State star should see more success through the air tonight.
Best Player Prop for Dallas Cowboys
George Pickens OVER 64.5 Receiving Yards (-112 at FanDuel)
Even with CeeDee Lamb back as WR1, George Pickens has been a consistent threat in the passing attack. He’s surpassed this relatively modest number in seven of nine games.
Check out the most recent production:
- 6 catches, 79 yards vs. Cardinals
- 7 catches, 78 yards vs. Broncos
- 4 catches, 82 yards vs. Commanders
- 11 catches, 168 yards vs. Panthers
During that span, Pickens has averaged 8.75 targets per game. The volume should be there again tonight, and Pickens could comfortably cruise past this number.
