The Oregon Ducks and Indiana Hoosiers collide in Friday’s CFP semifinal in Atlanta. ESPN has live coverage of the Peach Bowl starting at 7:30 p.m. ET.

Indiana’s meteoric rise under the direction of Heisman Trophy winner Fernando Mendoza has resulted in the Hoosiers (14-0 SU, 9-5 ATS) being the only unbeaten FBS team in the country. Oregon (13-1 SU, 9-5 ATS) only has one blemish on its record, and that’s due to Indiana.

The Hoosiers traveled to Eugene and defeated the Ducks back in October. Indiana opened as a 4-point favorite, but the line at DraftKings was pushed down to -3.5 as of publication, with 83% of the money and 77% of tickets on the Hoosiers. The total is 47.5.

Best Bet Oregon vs. Indiana: Against the Spread

It’s time to give Indiana all due respect — and your money at the betting window. The Hoosiers have answered every question and resolved any doubt about their superiority over the course of three games this season.

  • Indiana 30 Oregon 20
  • Indiana 13 Ohio State 10
  • Indiana 38 Alabama 3

Indiana also defeated then-No. 9 Illinois, 63-10. The Hoosiers own the highest average margin of victory in the country at 28.2 points. Defensively, Indiana has yielded the fewest red-zone touchdowns at six.

Oregon suffered several stalled drives last time out against Texas Tech’s defense, and that will likely be the case again on Friday night. Expect to see more field-goal attempts (instead of extra points) and turnovers on downs when the Ducks are on offense.

Oregon has struggled against elite defenses, including the first meeting against Indiana. The Ducks generated just 267 total yards of offense and 13 points in that contest. Brandon Finney Jr.‘s 35-yard pick-six accounted for one of Oregon’s two TDs. QB Dante Moore finished with just 186 passing yards, a TD, two interceptions, and six sacks.

Oregon RB Jordan Davison broke his collarbone against Texas Tech and has been ruled out against Indiana. His team-high 15 rushing TDs will be missed.

Don’t be surprised to see a quick start from Indiana. Expect Mendoza and WR Elijah Sarratt to connect early and often, utilizing a quick-passing attack. Sarratt had eight catches for 121 receiving yards and a TD in Eugene.

Thursday’s first semifinal game between Miami and Ole Miss should be competitive, but Indiana has a way of snuffing the drama out even against top teams. Ask Alabama.

Pick: Indiana -3.5 (-108 at DraftKings)

Top Player Prop for Indiana

WR Elijah Sarratt ATTD Scorer (+110 at FanDuel)

Sarratt is in the midst of a remarkable TD scoring run. He’s scored at least once in eight consecutive games after hitting paydirt against Alabama. As impressive, he’s found the end zone in 12 of 14 games this season.

Sarratt leads the Hoosiers with 13 TDs. Don’t overthink this one at plus-money odds. If you need more inspiration, check out his highlight reel from the first game against Oregon.

Best Player Prop for Oregon

RB Noah Whittington Anytime TD Scorer (+130 at FanDuel)

Davison’s absence could be sorely felt, but Noah Whittington led the Ducks with 129 carries and 829 rushing yards. Whittington will be the big beneficiary, as fellow RBs Jayden Limar and Makhi Hughes opted for the transfer portal.

The senior running back isn’t a stranger when it comes to the end zone, either. Whittington has seven total TDs on the season. His scoring opportunities should increase significantly with Davison on the sidelines.
