The Los Angeles Rams and Chicago Bears tangle on Sunday in the NFC Divisional Playoffs. Kickoff from Soldier Field is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. ET on NBC.
The Rams overcame the pesky Panthers, 34-31, in last week’s Wildcard round. The Bears used an improbable comeback to beat the Packers, 31-27.
DraftKings is dealing Los Angeles as a 4.5-point road favorite (juiced down to -102) with a total of 48.5 as of this writing. 66% of spread money and 60% of tickets are on the Bears.
Weather could play a role in the outcome, with an expected temperature of 21 degrees, a 47% chance of snow, and 11 mph winds in the forecast.
Best Bets for Rams vs. Bears
Los Angeles to Win By 1-6 Points (+300 at DraftKings)
The Rams aren’t running away from anybody as of late, and the Bears simply won’t go away. We expect this game to be competitive throughout.
Chicago’s last four games have been decided by 1-6 points, with the Bears going 2-2 SU. Expect them to be on the losing end of another close loss to end the season. It’s already been a success with the Bears winning the division and beating the rival Packers in the playoffs.
Rams QB Matthew Stafford UNDER 34.5 Passing Attempts (-117 at DraftKings)
With snow and wind predicted, expect Los Angeles to lean more on its running game on Sunday. RBs Kyren Williams (Notre Dame) and Blake Corum (Michigan) trade off every other series, and both are capable of helping LA control the game on the ground.
Rams TE Colby Parkinson OVER 19.5 Receiving Yards (-103 at DraftKings)
Colby Parkinson has exceeded this total in eight consecutive games. Even with fellow TE Tyler Higbee back against Carolina, Parkinson finished with two catches, 34 receiving yards, and the game-winning touchdown. Higbee also finished with a pair of catches for 45 yards. Both tight ends should continue to be targeted by Stafford.
Rams WR Puka Nacua ATTD Scorer (-110 at FanDuel)
Puka Nacua has six touchdowns over his past five games and should have had seven after an uncharacteristic drop against Carolina last week. Still, he paced the Rams with a pair of TDs (one receiving and rushing) against the Panthers.
Bears TE Colston Loveland OVER 57.5 Receiving Yards (-114 at DraftKings)
Loveland and Chicago QB Caleb Williams have developed a strong rapport at the most important time of the season. Check out Loveland’s production over the past three games:
- 8 catches, 15 targets, 137 yards vs. Packers
- 10 catches, 13 targets, 91 yards, 1 TD vs. Lions
- 6 catches, 10 targets, 94 yards, 1 TD vs. 49ers
