2026 Women’s Olympic hockey odds are available at FanDuel, and Team USA is the -155 betting favorite to win gold in Italy.

The Americans opened play yesterday with a 5-1 win over Czechia. They now face Finland as a prohibitive -8000 favorite. Puck drop on Saturday is scheduled for 10:40 a.m. ET on USA Network and Peacock.

The U.S. Women’s Olympic Team has captured two gold medals (1998, 2018). It also has four silver medals (2002, 2010, 2014, 2022) and one bronze medal (2006). The Americans have never failed to medal since the first-ever competition in Nagano, Japan, back in 1998.

  • USA -155
  • Canada +155
  • Czechia +6000

  • Italy +15000
  • Finland +15000
  • Germany +25000
  • Japan +25000

As in the men’s competition, USA and Canada are on a collision course to meet in the gold-medal match. The roles are reversed, however, with Canada favored on the men’s side, with Team USA the second betting choice.

Team USA Rates Edge Over Canada

The Americans enjoyed a four-game sweep of Team Canada in the four-game Rivalry Series. Team USA outscored Canada, 24-7, in those contests.

Team USA Captain Hilary Knight will become the most decorated U.S. women’s player if the Americans medal in Milan, as she is the only five-time U.S. Olympian to date. Knight scored her 13th goal in Olympic competition in the opening win over Czechia.

Hayley Scamurra paced the Americans with a pair of goals in the opener. Other key players for Team USA include Kendall Coyne Schofield, Megan Keller, Abbey Murphy, and Caroline Harvey.

Team Canada captain Marie-Philip Poulin (+800) is the betting favorite to win MVP of the women’s competition. Knight checks in as the second betting favorite at +1000.

Both the USA and Canada are competing in Group A along with Czechia, Finland, and Switzerland. Here is Team USA’s schedule for group play:

Thursday, Feb. 5: USA 5 Czechia 1

Saturday, Feb. 7: USA vs. Finland (10:40 a.m. ET)

Monday, Feb. 9: Switzerland vs. USA (2:40 p.m. ET)

Tuesday, Feb. 10: Canada vs. USA (2:10 p.m. ET)

Notably absent in this year’s tournament is Russia, which was banned due to its invasion of Ukraine.

Unlike the men’s tournament, where Sweden, Finland, and Czechia all roster strong teams, the women’s competition appears to be a two-horse race between Team USA and Team Canada.
