Scottie Scheffler, per usual, is the betting favorite. He’s seeking his third green jacket after winning in 2022 and 2024.
Best Bets on 2026 Masters Winner
Favorite: Ludvig Aberg (+2000)
Ludvig Aberg is making his third start in The Masters. The talented Swede took Augusta National by storm, finishing runner-up in his tournament debut back in 2024.
Last year, Aberg found himself tied for the lead with McIlroy and Justin Rose last in Sunday’s final round. Unfortunately, he bogeyed No. 17 and suffered a triple-bogey on No. 8, falling to seventh place at the finish.
It’s not a question of if Aberg will win The Masters, but rather how quickly and how many. We like his chances this year after a T-3 finish at the Arnold Palmer Invitational and a T-5 in The Players Championship.
Sleeper: Russell Henley (+4200)
Russell Henley is still in search of his first career major, but Henley is on the verge of breaking through. The Georgia native finished T-4 at the 2023 Masters, his best-ever finish in a major tournament.
He’s also recorded a solo fifth-place finish at the Open Championship in 2024, and a T-7 in the US Open that year.
Henley picked up his fifth PGA Tour win at this year’s 2025 Arnold Palmer Invitational. If he puts himself in the mix again on Sunday, it’d be no surprise to see him donning a green jacket.
Longshot: Adam Scott (+6200)
Remember Justin Rose at Augusta National last year? Only an inspired performance from McIlroy in the playoff kept him from claiming the green jacket.
This year’s version of Rose could be Adam Scott, who won The Masters in 2013 and finished runner-up in 2011. At 45, both players are still playing some of the best golf of their careers.
Scott, who is making his 25th career start at The Masters, owns five top-10 finishes at Augusta National. Long off the tee and with a nice touch on the greens, Scott’s got the game to win here again. His recent form includes a fourth-place finish at Riviera and a T-11 at the Arnold Palmer Invitational.
