Adam has a Master of Science in English from the University of Stirling, in addition to degrees in Psychology and Philosophy.
He worked for four years as a content editor at Oddschecker, a leading betting comparison site in the UK.
Following that, he taught writing in Japan for almost ten years. During that time, he also worked as a researcher at Rikkyo University in Tokyo for five years. He has published academic papers on gambling, education, and technology. He has also presented his research at several international conferences.
