The Iowa Racing and Gaming Commission, the regulator of casinos in the US state, has renewed the licences for the 19 properties it oversees, reports local news source WNAX.

The renewals were approved during this week’s meeting of the IRGC, which took place at Prairie Meadows Casino in Altoona on Tuesday.

The state issues one licence to the gambling company to run the games, and one to a non-profit organisation to manage the money that the state requires to be set aside.
