Multi-channel gaming operator Genting is to offer UK players casino slots from leading developer Yggdrasil after the two companies sealed a distribution deal.

Genting UK, which is part of the international Genting group, will offer online customers Yggdrasil’s full games portfolio, including the popular Vikings series.

Yggdrasil’s proprietary suite of in-game promotional tools, Boost, will also be available to Genting, providing in-game tournaments and leaderboards, configurable cash races and gamification features to increase player retention and engagement.

“As one of the most famous and respected casino brands on the planet, we are thrilled to have reached this agreement with Genting,” said Yggdrasil CEO Fredrik Elmqvist.

“We look forward to working with them closely to deliver our market-leading games and maximise player enjoyment.”

Genting’s director of gaming product Rob Hoddinott added: “Our focus is on presenting the most exciting and engaging gaming experiences. Yggdrasil’s products have a proven appeal among a broad range of slots players, so they will be a very positive addition to our online casino.”

Genting operates owns and manages more than 40 casino premises in the UK, including Crockfords and The Colony Club, while GentingCasino.com features more than 300 online slots as well as table games such as blackjack and roulette.
