Kollind joins Playson’s Malta team

Malta-based casino software developer Playson has boosted its commercial team with the appointment of Lars Kollind as Business Development Manager.

Kollind, who joins from Global Gaming, will be based at Playson’s global headquarters in Malta, and charged with leading the company’s strategic expansion plans.

An experienced igaming professional, Kollind has also held the position of global sales director with Aspire Global.

Ivan Farrugia, managing director at Playson, said: “We’re delighted to start 2019 by announcing Lars’ appointment. His proven ability to work with a wide range of operators, as well as his deep understanding of global markets, makes him a perfect fit for us.

Playson was recently awarded a licence by the Malta Gaming Authority creating new opportunities for the game provider to work with MGA-approved gaming brands. The company has also applied for a Swedish gaming licence.
