Malta plays a “huge role” to the igaming ecosystem, according to Greentube’s Head of Sales and Key Account Management, Markus Antl.

Casino and sportsbook operator group Soft2Bet has announced its support for the Malta Together festival to contribute funds in aid of vulnerable families.

The virtual festival takes place on Sunday 3 May in support of health care workers, those working on the front line, and volunteers helping in the fight against COVID-19.

Operating under the ‘A Festival of Gratitude and Inspiration’ tagline, the firm has donated funds to the Malta Trust Foundation which provides food and supplies for the poorest and most vulnerable families in the country.

Featuring appearances by Joseph Calleja, Ira Losco, Marc Storace, and the Malta Philharmonic Orchestra, the event will be aired on local television as well as streamed online in English at the same time via Facebook.

“We live in unprecedented times and as a show of gratitude to the country of Malta, we felt compelled to contribute to such a worthy cause,” noted Oksana Tsyhankova, operations director at Soft2Bet.

“The coronavirus continues to affect people across the globe and this event will hopefully be a great way to show solidarity in the face of adversity, and to help raise money for people who need it the most.”

Last week Soft2Bet unveiled its latest launch which is set to “revolutionise the market” with its B2B solution FEZbet.

The new product claims to have “unique gamification” as well as access to casino, live casino, sport and virtual sports modules. The B2B solution has over 3000 casino games from over 35 providers, along with sports betting opportunities and a number of tournaments.
