Habanero has deepened its position on the Italian market after the slots and table games supplier linked-up with platform provider Aresway.

As a result of the agreement the Italy-based firm, which was founded in 2016, is to bolster its omni-channel platform, which distributes gaming content across both retail and online, with a wave of new titles.

Fabio Massimo Molinari, CEO at Aresway, explained:  “We are thrilled to team up with Habanero, a game developer with a portfolio showcasing both state-of-the-art mathematical modeling and stunning graphics which appeal to an impressive number of fans in Italy and beyond.

“Together we will carry forward our vision and the innovative omni-channel project, bringing Habanero’s games in both the retail and online market.

“We are looking forward to working with the company and feel very confident that its unique titles will prove hugely popular with both our partners and their players.”

Habanero’s selection of more than 60 nationally certified games, which includes Wild Trucks, Egyptian Dreams and the Italian-themed Scopa, will now be available to the company’s retail and online operator network via its EOS platform.

Arcangelo Lonoce, European head of business development at Habanero, added: “We are delighted to join forces with Aresway in a move that cements our status among the nation’s most prominent igaming content developers.

“The platform provider’s highly advanced product offering services high-profile operators in both the retail and online verticals, and it’s fantastic that our hit games are launching across its extensive partnership network.”

Earlier this week Habanero announced that it has taken its real-money games catalogue live in Germany, as well as asserting that the jurisdiction is set to become “one of Europe’s most important markets”.

Going live under the jurisdiction’s newly regulated framework on October 15, the day that its online gaming market formally opened under a transition period, the move comes ahead of the official market opening in July 2021.
