Gambling tech firm Playtech has unveiled a partnership with Kindred Group regarding the launch of its casino suite across the global operator’s entire roster of nine brands.

Following an initial launch on Unibet’s UK and .com sites, Playtech Casino will subsequently be rolled out across further regulated markets including Sweden, Belgium and Romania.

David Robertson, head of casino at Kindred Group, said of the partnership: “Playtech’s innovative and engaging content will provide a fantastic level of entertainment to our international audiences and we’re delighted to be working with them.

“This will be a very exciting partnership for both companies, and we look forward to developing this partnership further in the months and years to come.”

Kindred brands, including 32Red, Maria Casino, and the aforementioned Unibet, will be provided access to Playtech’s portfolio of game releases, such as the Age of the Gods suite and the Fire Blaze Jackpot series, all produced by its collection of game studios including Origins, Quickspin, Vikings, Rarestone and Ash.

Shimon Akad, chief operating officer at Playtech, added: “We are thrilled that Kindred Group has chosen Playtech as its technology partner, highlighting the continued strength of our casino offering.

“This is a great example of Playtech’s commitment to partnering with the right companies to bring great entertainment to new and growing markets.”

Brian Mattingley was last week named as the impending non-executive chairman of Playtech, succeeding Claire Milne in the role who has served on an interim basis since May 2020.

Mattingley will be stepping down as chairman of 888 Holdings and his appointment as chairman of Playtech, and to the board, will take effect on June 1, 2021.
