SBC Leaders: why technology is an ‘enabler’ for player entertainment

Developments in the US sports betting and igaming market are very much to the fore in the latest issue of SBC Leaders magazine.

In an exclusive interview with SBC Leaders, Jette Nygaard-Andersen, CEO of Entain, shone a light on the first six months leading a global betting and gaming company, and expressed her excitement over the new opportunities for the group across the world. 

“Technology is all about what it can do to the player experience, how it generates excitement and even the social elements that it creates,” Nygaard-Andersen told SBC Leaders as she highlighted the ways technology can enable new consumer behaviours.

The US was among the key markets highlighted by the Entain CEO – a market which some of our speakers at the CasinoBeats Malta conference believed is ‘primed and ready’. Are we in the middle of an igaming gold rush, or is this yet to come?
